ATH-855 Wireless Wind Speed, Wind Chill & Humidex Thermometer

Additional Product Information

During the warmer months, when heat rises with humidity, things can get uncomfortable. Heat index is a calculation of measured temperature and humidity combined into one number to reflect perceived temperature. It is a measure of how the air “feels”. As humidity increases, the heat index goes up as well and the sensation of heat increases.

Humidex is the same indication of how the air “feels” with the same principals of heat index.

Wind Chill is a combination of the outdoor temperature and the wind speed and is the measurement of how the air feels in the cooler months.

The colored indicator scale combines the heat stress index and the wind chill index that will monitor your environment in order for you to decide on the appropriate outdoor activities based on the weather condition. The color bar graph is separated into eight indication categories: Danger (cold), Extreme (cold), Cold, Comfort, Caution (heat), Extreme (heat), Danger (heat), Extreme Danger (heat).

This very unique weather monitoring tool also measures indoor temperature and humidity for your complete weather outlook.
